Brats: Our Journey Home

For those of you interested, there is a DVD out right now about what life was like as a military brat. It's called Brats: Our Journey Home. I looked through the website for it and found it quite interesting. I haven't had a chance to view the DVD yet, but I'm looking for it to rent (I'm one of those rent before you buy types). What's up peeps! It's me Joel! yea..."JENNA'S BROTHER" as people know me...=P

How IS everyone doing? Man, it's been awhile since I've heard from the Yokosuka clan. Good thing I ran into Rich Ramones from a friend at work asking me that her friend Rich wanted to buy something from the Sony store. Low and behold the person who walks out is RICH RAMONES. How in Sams hell did this happen? I guess it was a sign it was time to get back to the old school and remember old friends whom are still really great friends to this day. I hope I get to hear from all of you more. The only new thing with me is that I bought a house up in Murrieta (Northern San Diego), have a wife name Julia and have a daughter name Leila. Leila is my lil princess who happens to be half Flip and half Russian so it's pretty rare to see this mix around. Check out the pix. Well, everyone...hope to be hearing from you soon. Domo arigato to those old friends who posted pictures that included my face. They bring back old memories even those that weren't so flattering of me! I don't even remember half of them. Talk about nostalgia. The photos I may have from way back when are buried somewhere in the storage room. I have moved several times since leaving Japan, thanks to the military. I do enjoy and REALLY laugh at seeing pics different people have posted on this blog site. Thank you so much! I've been a Navy wife now for the last 12 years. My husband flies F/A 18s out of NAS Lemoore. We have a 15-month old daughter and one cat. We should be here for another year so if you're in town, give me a ring or send me an email. My sister - Ginalyn Brock c/o 92, aka LCDR-select Brock (yes, Uncle Sam successfully recruited my little sister!) - will probably be too "shy" to blog, but she actually calls me every time she's done viewing this site. She's a closet blogger. She's currently stationed in San Diego. Though I had a great time at the high school I graduated from in Washington where I met my husband, I sometime wished I finished out at Yo-Hi. My Yo-Hi crew from Fil-Am group was the best! I know I was terrible with keeping in touch, but I do think of them often. My sister and I hope to make it at the reunion!

I believe this picture was taken for photography class, and if memory serves me right, the story to this picture is: Cindie posed for this picture and that the following day or so, someone Xerox a bunch of these pictures and posted them all over or was it, they made them into a mask...not sure...Cin, care to tell the story correctly?
