WOW! Now I actually remember that picture... It would be really interesting to get up-2-date pictures of everyone and Photoshop them all together in the same pose (kinda). Just to see how it would look.
Anyway, you guys are awesome! It's been a blast looking at all the posts (haven't seen anything from Karen in a while). I'm still working on whether or not I can make it out there. I'd love to come out to SD next year and bring my family. Just have to see what my basketball camp schedule is going to be for next year and if I can come up with the money (teacher's salary--#50 on lowest payscale in the nation-- ain't Oklahoma great?!) I'm working on it though...

Doing pretty good. Coaching basketball and baseball and teaching... yes, in that order :-).
It's a lot of fun and I enjoy the kids. I know that some of the guys live in CA and Karen has told me where Jose is, but I really don't know directly where anyone is. I keep trying, but really it's been by word of mouth. I'd say that once you get in touch with one of them that the rest will just dommino in place. Might email Karen or Luisa or Marie. It might be a case of '6 degrees of separation to Kevin Bacon' type of thing. Find one person and he/she's connected somehow.
How are you doing? Where are you living and what are you doing now?
I'm married and living in Guam, working as a Dept. Manager for the NEX. I also have three boys, ages 11,7 and 9 months old. It's a challenge working a full time job and raising three rambunctious boys but I'm happy.
Last tme I was in Cali, about 3 years ago, I saw Mike D and John Q. I know Pat P. is there as well as Donn R. and Leonard Lacbain. I'm surprised that none of them have logged on to this, you'd think they know of it at least. I know that a lot of Yo-hi people still keep in touch there, it's like a mini Yokosuka.
I went to your blog and read some of what was there. So you're married and I think I read that you have children but how many? How'd you end up in OK? Do you still keep in touch with anyone?
I used to but time and daily life got in the way so I only have contact info for a few people. I'm looking forward to the reunion. We're heading to Bowling Green KY first to visit my husband's family, then out to San Diego.
I hope you make it, it will be nice to see everyone in person. Do you ever hear from Ralph?
Well... I went to college at Oklahoma Christian (both my parents went to school and met there) and just kinda stayed. Now that we have my wife's parents living here (actually about 3 blocks away) and my parents living here (about 4 miles away)... I'd say that we're stuck here. And now that the grandparents have 2 grandkids, I think live ammunition might be involved if we tried to leave. :-)
I have a son, Joel, who is 2 1/2 and a daughter who is almost 6 months, born last November. It's defintely never a dull moment with 2--can't imagine 3... much less all boys! But I bet that you find ways to keep them all in line. :-)
Haven't really heard from anyone since the first year or 2 I was at OC. Lost touch after that. I did talk to John Austin (his sister's name was Marie) about 2 years ago and he was living in Memphis, TN. I think that he's still there, though. I really didn't hang out with a lot of people in school. Just kinda' hung out with whoever was in basketball or baseball at the time. I did have a few friends that I did quite a bit with, but just lost touch. I agree though... you'd think that the little 'yo-hi' group would find this place. :-)
Keep in touch. I need to put more pictures of my family on my blog site. Glad someone is viewing it.
Still in Guam, huh? Did you ever leave there after moving there from Japan?
I went back to Yohi to graduate and stayed the summer but came back to Guam again. I had plans to go to Cali but things happened then I met my husband and the rest is history. Like you the grandparents are here and if we tried to leave, you'd probably see our story on A&E's the first 48:)
My job now though can send me anywhere that there is a NEX, I'm hoping for Europe but everyone is trying to go there. I wouldn't mind going back to Yokosuka though. It would be pretty neat to have my kids attend the same school I went to.
Ah... come on now... it wasn't big back then... IT WAS THE 80'S! :-)
NO! HERE'S WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL OLD: When the kids at school have a spirit day and "Dress like the 80's" is one of the days (usually has the 60's and 70's day before it). I mean what's up with that?!?!!?
Heck... I couldn't even make up my mind on a hairstyle. Just take a #2 to it now and do the whole thing! Got that 'summer doo'. :-)
ITs been a long time...Anyway, just want to know if your going to the reunion...Marie and I are head counting..the 90's don't want to be outwit from the rest of the class.
Please email your respond at yohi90@yahoo.com...We need to know who is going..just give us number..

Hey Mike,
How are you? Coaching basketball huh? Sounds like you're doing what you love.
Where are all of the boys of Class of '90. I know most live in Cali...do you know how to reach them?
Hey Kim

Hey Mike and Kim!
The mini YoHi people here in San Diego are lurking this blog. They all just haven't signed on...
You guys should try MySpace. Lots of people getting in touch that way also. Search my name.
Hope to see you guys at the reunion!
