Recovered Pics From The Fil-Am Folkloric

Everything changed but the scenery! That was always one constant. Well, the other constant was that I always felt "pretty" when they would put make up on us. Did I say that out loud. Before I left I was promoted to bamboo clapper in the Singkil dance. Oh yeah, I definitely thought I made it. It was bonus that "uber hottie" Maribel Reyes (spelling unsure) was the queen of that dance! I have no proof of those good times.

I do have proof of some of the other dances that we would participate in. Unfortunately, for you girls out there, I don't have any of Paul and Barry Villegas doing the Igorot Dance.

Here is Mark Santero and I in our Barong Tagalog, aka Filipino Pimp shirts. I think that is Luisa on the left. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am, of course, focus on the moves at hand, while Mark is checking out hotties in the front row.
Younger pic, same background. Check out Warren cheesin' for the paparazzi. After the dance, Warren did the first, and probably only, dolphin dive-hand spin- windmill combo in a Barong. Others in the picture; My sister Corina, Mike Santero, and maybe Ed Kruk in the far back. I am just guessing. I don't remember if Ed participated in these things.

There is Eric Hall behind me there. As for the girls, I am sorry I don't remember your back sides. Hope you enjoyed the pics.. my mom gave me an album with some random pics for my birthday.

Which brings me to... thank you for your birthday wishes! Mia and I have been going a million miles an hour. The baby will be here soon and we are extremely excited!

Oooh, I forgot to call you back! I'll call you tomorrow, sorry! I'm exhausted but wanted to comment on this...

First off, thanks for sharing the pictures, I love looking back at our past! I am VERY glad that you were always dancing w/the older folks therefore have no pics of me to cap on!

Secondly, I have to say...um, why didn't you wear a full t-shirt in the second picture...your um, barong was very thin and we can clearly see your tank top that showed your lanky arms...hahahahaha! You learned your lesson and wore full t-shirt...hmm, I must of capped on you about the tank top that's why you wore the t-shirt the next year! hahahahahaha!

Third, yes that's Luisa.

Fourth, it's Maribel Rayos, and I'll ask her if she has any pictures of her as the queen and to see if you really were on the stage with her...I think you're making it up so you can be associated with her somehow!
