Oh the war is on! First off I'd like to say I'm sooo much younger than everyone in this pic! Cin's right she attended ALL my birthdays which I thought was weird cause I was still in elementary. And Cin's this supposedly cool high schooler...phuleez, she didn't go to my parties cause of the food...she went cause and I quote "you are such a cute kid and I love hanging with you!"
Cin, alls I can say, you're lucky I don't have a picture of you in your turbine!
Nelson, I know my mom had pancit there for sure, just not sure why it's not pictured. You know that whole filipino superstition "eat noodles for long life" that is of course if we had spaghetti instead. I do see pizza there...odd, maybe my mom didn't throw me a traditional fobling party :-) And yes, I do believe that imari plate is from the A33!

Okay...I've been waiting for a pic like this...I'm looking for the Filipino-Navy family stereotypes...
The same basic Corningware plates and bowls.
I see what looks like the "Last Supper" on the wall in the back.
Ahh...but I see that someone's mom decided to use the imari plates (probably bought at A-33).
What's missing...
Soy Sauce circles on the tablecloth.
Basket woven plate protectors.
I see no lumpia or pancit on that table...aren't those Filipino party staples?
;)

I loved you mom's pancit. The one with eggs with "spagetti like noodles". Pancit Malabon.
Earl, where are you? Email me when you get the chance!!
