I once got caught off base stealing a lady's purse while in the ginza on one of those half day days. Got caught by Japanese national police after I tried running away, and was later turned over to Shore Patrol where my parents had to pick me up at the station. Had to see a shrink for a couple of months because I was labled a "juvenile delinquent". I also got caught burning some school books on top of the H40 building, but luckily I ran away fast enough to not let that out of shape shore patrol dude catch me. I stole so much crap from SEIYU, like those "shaker" mechanical pencils, lead, and erasers, but never got caught. I once stole a neighbor's blue BMX bike but ended up abandoning it in the J-area playground by the monkey bars. DAMN, I really was a delinquent. Look at me now........go figure.

We were just over at Joy's last night and had dinner at Todai's, too bad you don't live here so we can all hang...had fun when you were here this past Thanksgiving!
Hey Dawn! I remember that time when you got caught by Japanese police. I heard they were really mean! I think all of us use to steal off base and in the Exchange...those were fun times. hahaha. I miss those days!
oh hell yah! That Beverage store on the one way hill side of the base exchange. They were always good for a candy bar or two, ala the filipino discount, after school.

Oi! Dawn! remember me? Brandon Cruz C/O '89; how long has it been? 25+yrs. way too long! I read one of your blogs that your in Hawaii & moonlight as a USAF Reservists. Well shootz, I'm in the USAF AD working as an instructor on C-17A Globmaster aircraft. When Hickam AFB received their C-17s I went down there to teach the initial cadre how to work on these big air-lifters. If I ever get a chance to take a hop back into Hickam I'll try to hook up with you to catch up on some good ol' times back in Yokosuka yeah!
