Reunion Update #3

The reunion will be a 2-day event. A banquet on Friday evening and Luau on Saturday at a local park (to be determined). Cost of reunion is still to be determined until we confirm banquet location at USS Midway, caterers, dj, etc. Details will be announced as they become available.

Reunion Video Montage--

Anyone with the knowlege and talent for doing this, please contact us. We would love to have this for the reuion. We are now requesting pictures, old and new, to be submitted to be included in the Reunion Video Montage.

Also, if anyone has a recommendation for a local dj in the San Diego area, we will gladly take it into consideration. We are in the process of getting price quotes.

We will be needing volunteers for the following committees. Please let us know what you would like to assist with and how we can contact you.

We also still need representatives from each class to get the word out and have their classmates sign-up & register at this site and to also let us know if there are any issues or concerns your class may have. We'll need a list of names, mailing addresses and email addresses for members of each class planning to attend the reunion.

For Friday at the USS MIdway:

Welcome (meet & greet, guest sign-in, invitation check-off list, seating assignment, etc.)
Set-up (preparation, decorations, etc.)
Clean-up
Entertainment (games, favors, games & prizes, talent showcase, etc.) If you have a talent you'd like to share with us at the reunion, let us know. If this fits in our program, we would love to have a showcase.

For Saturday for Luau at Park:

Welcome (meet & greet)
Set-up (preparation, decorations, etc.)
Clean-up
Entertainment (games?, volleyball, etc.)

I would also like to help out. I would like to help out with meet&greet, and setup/clean up both days. Hoping to be at the event as well. I guess as soon as we finalize the dates I can be more certain which im sure is the same for everyone else DUH!! For now I will try to and spread the word about the blog/reunion to as many peeps as I know.

Yuria, you're funny! We're thinking about July-Aug timeframe. I heard through Lica and Mali, that the rates from Japan are outrageous, so we're thinking of towards end of July...so hopefully this'll help you a little =) I'll post more as the info becomes avail.

Yes Yuria you have a year to save up and make it out here. I wonder what the difference is on going to japan and coming from japan to the US. Right now im looking at prices for our trip home this summer in July. The prices now is averaging $1100 - $1400. I wonder if its the same? Anyway start saving up girl I expect you to be at the reunion, hehehe!!
