Far East Speech-Drama Festival in Seoul 1990

Karen Abrenica & Mark Manuel
Memories of Mark: I remember you bringing down the house with your singing and acting. I hope you are still putting your talents to good use. I remember those days working at the Sailing Center. I still have my AquaMarine Sailing Center Staff Shirt. I can't fit in it anymore of course...but I keep it for sentimental purposes. Remember rainy days and Tetris Challenges? And lastly, I remember our families getting stranded in Korea..waiting to get on a MAC flight back to Yokosuka. I think that was when we got to know each other better as friends. So, where are you now? For those in contact with him...you have to get him blogging here.

Base police, Karen Abrenica, Stacy VanAllen, Brandi Worthington, Jessica Polka, Arlyne Aranda

This was us getting lost in Seoul, Korea. We SO did not know where the hell we were and luckily came across the base police station - where here we felt we were saved. The police officer humored us and drove us home to our sponsored houses with lights flashing.

My fondest memory of Mark was him in Show Choir... when they did the Little Shop of Horrors musical and he came out, "I am your dentist!" That was pretty funny... I got to know Mark better when I joined Show Choir the second 1/2 of my senior year. That was a blast.

Yes, The Little Shop of Horrors! I couldn't remember the title last night when I was posting - but that was totally what I was referring to when I wrote "singing and acting". "I am your dentist!" was so classic. I remember cheering him on and how everyone was going wild over that.
