Yeah, that's what I figured...it looked like he was doing VM stuff.
I remember distinctly that that was around the time period when I first saw him...he was working his Summer VM job with Fred and a bunch of other guys and they were hauling some equipment into the Navy Exchange...when by chance me and my sisters were entering at the same time. George didn't EVEN notice me...but I remember going to Maria Simbulan's house later that evening and looking him up in her yearbook. OMG, that was such a long time ago. It's funny to think back and remember how it all began.
