Fun in the Sun

Since I'm unable to post old pictures....here are a couple of new pictures of the family. This family picture was taken at Point Loma - courtesy of Mark Santero. It was so challenging getting Sarah to look at the camera - thanks to Hannah, Sheryl & Sydney they were able to grab her attention...and we were able to capture this family portrait.

Here are the two kids: Noah at 3 years old, Sarah at 5 months. Believe it or not both are sick in this picture. Noah came down with strep throat 4 days before his birthday...poor boy. Sarah came down with the flu. Both real troopers...very happy and loving kids - George and I have been blessed.

Hi Mabel...YES, of course I remember you! It is odd, isn't it how life turns out. George and I have been married for 6 years now...but it seems like a life time since we've been together on and off since 1986. I'm trying to remember now who you had a biggest crush on. We actually don't live in San Diego. George's parents live in Chula Vista so we make our way down there every so often. But we actually live in Murrieta...which is about an hour north of San Diego - off the 15FWY.

Hey Mike...12:30am - I think that's Eastern Standard Time...cause I recall posting at about 9:30pm PST. Sarah is actually now 6 months...but I was lucky that at 3 months she was already sleeping through the night. Her typical routine is that I'll put her down in her crib at about 8:30pm - she'll roll around and play till about 9pm then she knocks out till about 5am the next morning. She's a good girl...which is dangerous because she makes me feel like I could have another one or two IF THEY could be as easy to take care of as she is. Hang in there with your little one...she'll get into her own little routine.

Can't wait to see you all too, Cindie! You need to post more pictures of your girls!!! I love seeing how much they've grown...and I can't wait to meet your youngest one - she is just TOO cute!

Hi Luisa...I TOO missed that first reunion - so, I'm looking forward to attending the one next year as well. I believe George and I were living in Tampa, FL at the time. Now we are living here in Murrieta. YES, definitely post pictures of your family.

I'm glad to see you listed under c/o 90. For the longest time, Claudette had you under c/o 89...and I remember telling MIkey that I remember you graduating with ME and how you were in charge of doing our graduation slide show. Do you still have those pictures?

OH too bad...it would of been nice to replay that slide show. As far as the photography thing goes...ironically George picked it up for a hobby as well. For the most part our weekends are always booked because he likes to plan excursions for the family. Good to see that you are still into photography. When are you going to post your family pictures??!!

Karen..I was just kidding...I don't think you remember what you wrote in my yearbook...:) lol

You're right, Luisa - I haven't got the slightless clue. haha - The aging process has definitely taken a toll on my memory. But I'm still waiting on those family pictures of yours....haven't forgotten that!

Thanks, Richie - we do feel blessed. When I was pregnant with Sarah...we were thrilled to find out that we would be having her - that way George has his little carbon-copy and I was hoping that I would have my own as well. But as it turns out, those Bernabe genes run strong and Sarah actually looks alot like George when he was a baby.

Parenthood is amazing...which you and Alice will come to find. But definitely, enjoy your first year together as a married couple...once the kids come along -it becomes a whole new ball game.

Mabel...you know, I think I remember - but I didn't want to say in the event that I was wrong. So, I'll hold off and see for when you post his picture. I'd love to see you again! But I don't know when we'll be heading down there next. George's parents have been coming up alot to see us...to save us the commute with the kids. Let me know if you ever make your way up here.
