Claud, OMG these bring back memories! I'm going to have to tell Jodi that she's up on the site again. Btw, I think that's Jennifer Lauzon in the red, not Aurora Moya!

I know total flashback of our childhood...miss those days! Yeah I think you're right, I wasn't sure what that girls name but Jennifer Lauzon sounds familiar...I think I saw someone say it was Aurora...I'll go change it. Thanks.

Sol, do you guys have any pics of our FilAm days? I wanna see (^o^) I wanna see now pictrues of you and Jodi.

BTW, where are the Galang's...wasn't Joel my grade?

C, you know I don't have any old pics here, but my mom might still have some pictures lying around somewhere. I'll try to post some once I get a chance! =)

About the Galangs... they retired in Pensacola (Florida) right after they left Yokosuka in '86. About a year ago, Auntie Zeny and Uncle Joe moved to Arizona. I saw Joel, his wife Linda and their 2 kids in Chicago two years ago. I believe Joel, my sister and you were all class of '91. I remember Joel used to hang out with Aurora Moya and Cindy Fulmer. Did I get that right? Anyway, Joel lives in Michigan now. I still keep in touch with Jocelyn (Joel's younger sister) and even saw her this past Christmas at her boyfriend's family reunion in Orlando. She's living in Virginia Beach.

My only thought is...you guys performed at the hospital, too?

On, and an afterthought...thanks to years of watching you guys dance, when we went to the Philippines last year, and they were teaching the hotel guests (we stayed at Boracay for a few days) how to do the tinikling, I was a pro. They had me going so fast, I was worried I was going to get my feet smashed between the bamboo!!

Aya it's so great that you know tinikling!! I wonder how many of us continued dancing after Yokosuka? Jodi and I kept at it until college, but we haven't done a dance since then! Gosh, I sorta miss it now...it definitely kept us in shape.

I think many of us translated the Fil-Am Friendship Day dancing experience into college. We called them PCNs in our neck of the woods. Pilipino Culture Night. Though I hung up my barong my last year of college, I still get asked from time to time to perform at weddings (I profusely turn them down these days.)

What would be great is if someone compiled some of those Fil-Am dance videos from waaay back. It would be nice to see some of our old performances at the reunion next year.
