Job well done - Islander Girl...I think you have one up on Mikey in being able to track people down.
Mr. Starrine...you are STILL looking young and what a beautiful family. Tiaron looks like a mini-you. It's so good to see that you are doing well. You did such a great job as a teacher and debate coach...I always knew that you'd be a great father as well. I hope you'll be able to make it out to the reunion next year. I'd love to see you and meet your family. Until then please keep in touch!
Mr. Starrine! The air is still thin up here. :-) I'll never forget those chemistry classes and how "technologically up-to-date" with that computer you had in your room (89). It was the coolest thing... now it's probably history, huh? Are you back to teaching? or just doing something different?
Mr. Starrine, I just wanted to let you know what a tremendous help you were in preparing me for my college chemistry classes. I was at a great advantage because I already had the whole periodic table memorized. And you know how you had us write up our lab experiments in that black and white notebook? Well, we did the exact same thing in college!! It's like you had previously taken that same class and taught it to us in a slower high school pace. I had to take at LEAST one chemistry and one biology class, including labs, every semester. It's amazing how one teacher can make a difference in someone's life, like you did for me. Now I am a clinical laboratory scientist, working in a hospital lab, and I can't imagine doing anything else. Thank you, Mr. Starrine.
P.S. If you don't remember me, I was one of the 7th graders in your algebra I class. Janine Hwang, who was one of the other 7th graders in the class, is now a pediatrician. I moved during my junior year, so I didn't get to take your physics class.

Thanks to Alice for letting us know he's back in Yokosuka! And thanks to technology for helping me find him!

Hi Mr. Starrine,
I'm not sure if you still remember. I just want to thank you for all the help that you have given during the years that I was in Kinnick HS.
